When "Reserve Windows 10" doesn't work

Try this.

Scroll down the page until you find the instructions for fetching a script from dropbox. It will say

The fix is in a zipped file located on Dropbox; download, unzip (.exe) and extract "win10fix_full.bat" to your Desktop.

And this

Also, Microsoft says this, "PCs that we determine cannot run Windows 10 will not see the Get Windows 10 app before July 29th. After July 29th, we’ll enable the icon in the system tray. This is to help ensure that you can easily check your PC’s compatibility if you choose. "

How to sign into Chrome

I don't understand Google Chrome. All I know is every time I switch computers, I have to be "signed in" so I get all my extensions.

But where to "sign in" isn't always obvious. Until I stumbled across something accidentally.

In the upper left corner of Chrome you'll see "apps." Click on that. It will tell you that you're not signed in and will let you sign in.

Android phone storage is full, delete some files -- Solved!

I got a message on my android that phone storage is full and that I must delete some files. But it's not full!

Then I found I could not send texts.

I found a procedure to fix it:

  1. Pull down the error message and click on it to manage your apps.
  2. Go to the one that says internet (or on my phone, the word was "browser.")
  3. Choose the option to "clear data."

How to share a cloud printer

So I bought a cloud printer. Epson 2660

Three of us want to use it.

I followed the directions, which said I must associate the printer with a google account. So I used my gmail address.

Once I did that, I couldn't figure out how to add more google accounts.

Then finally, I figured out that I cannot register it to more than one gmail address. I must now "share" the printer.

There are two options for sharing.

The first sends an email to specific accounts. The second is to make it public to anyone who receives the link.

I chose "public" and it then displayed the link, which I then sent to other household members. When they click on it, they can then verify that they want access to the printer.

I added the URL to Lastpass. I also added the URL of the control panel to Lastpass, and the IP address of the printer.

The control panel is "Epson Connect."
